STILLBAY STORM + SOUTH AFRICA

ABOUT

Stillbay Storm is a boutique olive farm located on the river north of Stillbay, South Africa. The olive trees are nourished with a combination of rain, river and well water, all filtered through the indigenous limestone. This combination creates a one-of-a-kind, rich-tasting, extra virgin olive oil. Located close to the sea, the Stillbay area is known for its extreme surfer culture made up of travellers, from afar, that come to ride the magnificent waves.

THE DESIGN PROJECT

With the proliferation of olive farming in South Africa, our assignment was to create naming, brand identity and bottle packaging to differentiate Stillbay Properties from other oil production farms. Naming and brand identity connected the Stillbay Storm brand story to the romantic, iconic waves and those that conquer them, close-by. The result is a standout, graphic look-and-feel featuring surfer and sea.
