Charles Bongers - Creative Director

Charles Bongers is the creative director of cb+co. brand design, a professional illustrator, and author/illustrator of Do Trees Have Mothers?, a Canadian children’s best seller and Indigo Books Heather’s Kids’ Pick. As an award-winning creative director, Charles has worked with large-scale, global brands (Amex, Nestle, Microsoft, World Wildlife) at communications agencies, in Toronto and Cape Town (Ogilvy), as well as with leading entrepreneurs and investors in Seattle and Toronto (Skytap, Smilebox, Ecobee) to create launch strategy and branding campaigns.

 

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Charles has had a lifelong passion for nature and the outdoors as a decorated Springbok athlete in sailing, mountain climber, and tree advocate. He also serves as a consultant to Wild Entrust, a wildlife conservation trust in Southern Africa dedicated to supporting the long-term viability of threatened large predators.

Liz Nenadich - Strategy + Business Development

With a deep background in brand communications and marketing, Liz Nenadich has extensive experience in working with creative teams to bring strategy and ideas to life. Her areas of expertise include strategic brand planning, business development, and managing the evolution of complex brand design systems. Liz began her career in the Toronto and New York advertising communities, with brand leadership roles for Dove/Lever Brothers, The Miller Brewing Company, Adam’s Brands confectionary, CIBC, CIBC Wood Gundy, Campbells. As co-founder and strategic lead at Extension Brand Design, Liz provided business and client leadership in the development of branding and communications campaigns for National Bank Financial, Microsoft Corporate/Seattle, Ecobee, Skytap, Decho (formerly Pi Corp).

 

Born in the UK, Liz has lived and worked in Toronto, New York, Paris and Montreal and is equally passionate about design, art, community, jazz, food and supporting up-and-coming creative talent.
